The bell tower of Notre-Dame-de-la-garde day strong east wind. This magnificent basilica of the Roman-Byzantine style is topped by a monumental statue of the Virgin and Child. The virgin gazes benevolently seaward and protects sailors. With this picture I wanted to fit tribute to the architecture of Henry Esperandieu and the majestic bell tower overlooking the city of Marseille.
